Founded 15.12.2022, MegaSense Oy (FI3321693-2) is a University of
Helsinki deep tech spinout. It holds a patent for multi-sensor
calibration and sells subscription services, historical data, and
portable devices. It is based in Finland.

Open for Collaboration
MegaSense Oy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and partnership
agreement with Web Arabia in Riyadh (2024). Through the MegaSense
Research Platform, it collaborates on AI research with the University
of Helsinki's Computer Science department. We are actively seeking
partners in the U.S., European, and UK markets to leverage our
real-time services.
Open for Investment
MegaSense, backed by UK seed funding since 2023, is seeking investors
to scale globally. With low operating costs and marketing support from
Business Finland, we are expanding into the U.S. and Middle East

Youth Job Creation
MegaSense employs motivated students and researchers. Our growing team
of computer and atmospheric scientists focuses on scaling services
through continuous optimisation. In return, we offer flexible hours
and remote work to encourage creativity and balance.
Low-Cost Sensing Expertise
MegaSense has been developing low-cost sensors to calibrate air
quality forecasts since 2019. In 2025, we introduced a fixed indoor
sensor with our partner Loopshore and are now expanding our technology
to measure a broader range of pollutants.
EU Funding and Consortium Membership
MegaSense is part of the EU-funded NextAIRE initiative (2025-2027),
training future air quality scientists and innovators, and also
contributes to the Carbon 2.0, Untangling People Flow, and RadonNET
consortiums.
EXPOs and Events
MegaSense showcased its offerings at the Global Infrastructure Expo in
Riyadh in 2025 and actively participated in events like LEAP, Mobile
